The Chilean American Chamber of Commerce of
the South
During April 2007, the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce was legally created. Based in Atlanta, GA, the chamber started with five companies: Agrosuper, Arauco, CMPC; Masisa and SQM, plus another 5 members. After that, we started the first contacts in Chile, in Georgia and with the Chilean Embassy. Then Delta joined the CACS and in October we organized an Event where the Chamber was officially launched. With more than 190 important guests, we established the goals and the network to start working as an organization. For 2008 we have some very interesting projects but the main goal is to consolidate this new organization.
